Ulises joined Mueller in 2017 bringing 24 years of experience in International tax planning and consulting for multinational companies. His work experience includes working independently in a tax advisory role and for multiple Big 4 firms. His focus is on tax structuring, reorganizations, repatriation of earnings, effective tax rate management, financing, mergers and acquisitions, and transfer pricing.
He has had responsibilities for creating and implementing tax planning strategies for US multinationals investing in Europe, Asia and Latin America across multiple industries, including technology, manufacturing, consumer products, pharmaceutical, automotive and private equity. Additionally, Ulises’ experience includes tax treaties, global earnings management solutions, subpart F, foreign tax credit, acquisition due diligence and post-acquisition integration tax strategies, tax efficient debt financing, cash repatriation and direct and indirect tax compliance.
Ulises is fluent in English, Spanish, and French.
